What is “The 3 in One”? The 3 in One is obviously the name of this website, but why have I labeled it as such? There are multiple meanings behind this name, the four “3-in-Ones” include:
First: I believe in the Triune God, three persons and one God. Where the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct yet inseparable.
Second: I believe that God became human, that he truly took on human flesh, but his incarnation is not the only part of the story. I believe in his life, death, and resurrection, where these three can never be separated, lest we lose the message of the Gospel.
Third: I believe that one clear way of understanding this-world, is by examining the sociological categories of Me (the self), Us (the in-group), and Them (the outsiders)…and I believe that all three (Me, Us, and Them) are one in-Christ.
Fourth: I believe that Christ is the head of the church, his body. And in the context we find ourselves today, the church seems to be fragmented. However, I believe in the mystery of the Gospel which Paul proclaimed when he said there is no longer a dividing wall between Jews and Gentiles, and in our context, I apply this to mean that there is no longer a dividing wall between Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox Christians. We are all becoming one in God through Christ by grace through faith. Individual congregations must have individual identity, yet there must still be a bond of unity between them. I do not have all the answers, but I do have prayers. Please pray with me.
This is what “The 3 in One” means, but please refer to the About Me Page to understand how I apply this my life.
